FREE Ear Acupuncture for POC
A Community Offering March-May 2022
As we come close to the anniversary of the Atlanta spa killings and I am hearing too many stories about Asian people being attacked in NYC on a daily basis, I am reminded how oppressive powers work. Increased police presence is unhelpful and dangerous. Blaming and criminalizing the houseless population is cruel. Anti-Blackness, transphobia, Islamophobia continues in all communities and none of it is helpful. All of this causes trauma. We can’t be truly healthy if our communities are in such distress.
I am surrounded by a community of sensitive, loving, strong and worthy people. A lot of us are in pain.
From March-May I will be gifting (yes, free!!) three, 30 min ear acupuncture sessions to the community PER WEEK. The only requirements are that you are a person of color, you wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth during your visit, you sign all required forms and you are respectful of my time in regards to scheduling and showing up. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Late cancels require full payment but because I am gifting my time and resources, when you late cancel, I lose the time and opportunity to give it to someone else in need. Please understand that I am also going through some of the same things as you might be. Each person can have up to three free visits.
