Shirley Ng’s Photo Exhibit Jan-Feb

Shirley L. Ng 伍 麗 卿 is an editorial, street and even photographer. She has taken thousands of photographs with her DSLR camera in the last decade and has decided to share some with the public. Two of her images are displayed in the waiting room here at Emily Grace Acupuncture, 122 Baxter Street, room 501. Please stop during business hours to see her images.

Shirley also has a set of photographs currently on display at Chatham Square New York Public Library branch, 33 East Broadway. This is the first public showing of her works. The images are printed on hard board and measures 20x16 inches. All the photographs were taken in Chinatown and Little Italy of lower Manhattan. Images are on display until the end of February.

Shirley was born in New York city and raised in lower Manhattan, specifically, Chinatown. She earned her independence at an early age running around the community as a child of working immigrant parents. Shirley wandered throughout the neighborhood and captured images in her early teens with her first camera that used 110 film. Visit her site to learn more about Shirley and her photograpy.
