Clinic Updates and Summer 2023

Gentle Reminders

Late Policy: If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment you are no longer guaranteed an appointment and instead will be considered a late cancel or no show which is subject to the full cost of your planned appointment. If you are late to your appointment, your appointment will not include any add-ons like cupping, LED, moxibustion or electroacupuncture. Though these modalities might be a part of your regular treatment plan, they also require time to administer. Lateness impacts not only the quality of your treatment but the quality of others. Please do your best to be on time.

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation that is less than 24-hours is considered a late cancel and is subject to the full charge of your appointment. Any cancellation that is less than 48-hours on a facial appointment is subject to the full charge of your appointment. I know these cancellation policies might make you feel disappointed but I am not just a small business, I am a solopreneur and owner of a microbusiness. (I am also the person cleaning the floors here!) When you cancel your appointment without notice, it means that not only did someone else from the community miss out on that appointment time, myself, as the provider also loses the time, cost and opportunity of your appointment time. I have made a lot of concessions in the past three years due to COVID and other personal emergencies that have come up and I am at the point where I can no longer do that. I hope you understand that this is also a part of my ability to provide you with quality service and attention.

There are no refunds on products, herbal medicine or services.

Pricing Updates

Acupuncture Package Agreements are for those who are experiencing a financial hardship. For that reason, I don’t like raising prices, however rising costs of living through and during a pandemic are a reality. Please know, I always hold off on this as much as possible. Community actions that help to keep costs lower will always be your courtesy in preventing lateness, cancellations and no-shows. Package pricing will see a $5 increase per session. Package Agreements are still hugely discounted from single session pricing.

Starting June 1, 2023 package pricing will be as follows:

Acupuncture 3 pack $315

Acupuncture 5 pack $500

Acupuncture 10 Pack $950

Vaginal Steam follow up visit (virtual or in-person) $85

Herbal consult initial visits and re-engagement $65

Purchase packages ahead, before the price adjustment

Refunds on unused sessions are only available under extenuating circumstances. Any refund will incur a 5% processing fee, there are no refunds after 6 months of purchase. Refunds are based on single session pricing. First time and Follow up Acupuncture single visits remain the same.

If you’re looking for a discount for purchasing ahead - become a blog reader! You will find discount codes at the end of some blog posts. These discount codes only applies when purchasing ahead and not in-person.

Masks

Masks will continue to be required. During facial appointments you will only remove your mask while in the treatment room and must mask up in the hallway and waiting room. Surgical masks will continue to be provided free of charge. KN95’s and KF94’s are available for purchase. You are encouraged to use KN95’s, N95’s and KF94’s as they provide the most protection in situations of one-way masking. Masking is going to continue to be important for community care and community safety. Some people in our community are pregnant, trying to conceive or have other conditions or situations in which COVID or other airborne illnesses could impact their health or their families’ health very seriously. I am continuing to maintain a space where we proactively protect each other.

Each treatment room has a HEPA filter running constantly and CO2 readings stay under 900, which is considered safer. (Outdoor CO2 readings are usually between 450-550)
